  1. Thanks for this, I'm gonna try to make this. I love cut-on sleeves, so simple and easy.

  2. Thanks for sharing! I'll try this pattern -I think size 16 at this time was a 34" bust- and I'll post the result :)

  3. I love the Spool Cotton booklets. I have two originals -- one of them is on my flickr account, here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/14033721@N06/sets/72157622923037569/

  4. I've got that book, too, with my other vintage sewing books. I'll probably be reviewing them sometime in the future. . .

  13. I'm still a bit of a rookie when it comes to making blouses, I cannot figure out how to make to eyelits with the facing pieces (maybe it's time for more coffee) something for some reason is not clicking. Any help would be appreciated :)

  14. No patterns were given for the facing pieces for the slit and the eyelets. You need to cut some pieces from what is left that are a little wider so you can turn under and stitch down when you have finished the eyelets and slit. Sort of like making a bound buttonhole.

  15. This is fabulous. I'm going to try this one. It looks simple. Very inspirational for my vintage fiction, too. My characters sew and this would be perfect for them to make. I think it would be easy to explain in writing! Woo hoo!
