Children's Patterns for Sale

These Children's patterns are for sale.  Shipping is $3.00 for the first one, .25 for additional.  I prefer U S Postal money orders, but will send an Invoice ASAP, with a small processing fee, if you want to pay with a credit card.  $10 each unless marked otherwise.   PLEASE NOTE:  You must give me some way to contact you if you wish to buy patterns--or come back to this page to see my reply to your request!



Advance 4440 - $10

Make this in wool for fall and winter or short for summer.
Pattern is undated, size 3, breast 22, waist 20-1/2.
Overalls for girls or boys. (There is actually a tiny fly opening in the boys version.) Elastic back waist, shirt with short or long sleeves, pockets if used as jacket.
Pattern is used, envelope in great vintage condition with yellowing.



Advance 5715 - $10

Hey, Bunnie! Live long and prosper!
Size 4, breast 23, waist 21.
Dress with double-breasted bodice with puffed sleeves. Skirt has triangular gores to add fullness. Make the gores, collar, and cuffs in a contrasting fabric.
Unprinted pattern is used, envelope in great vintage condition, yellowing.












Advance 6131 - $10

Debbie sat on the ugly hat while Dottie practiced her Marilyn Monroe moves. Hortense wondered which of the twins deserved the poisoned apple most.
Size 8, breast 26, waist 23.
Playsuit top is sleeveless and buttons in the front, leaving the tummy bare. The shorts have a purchased belt. Skirt can be a tied-in-the-front wrap or closed circle; weskit has a pointed front and square neck in front.
Unprinted pattern is used, envelope in great vintage condition with yellowing.







Advance 6319 - $10

Chuckie took his imaginary block and went home. The other boys resumed playing "Captain Underpants".
Size 1, chest 20, waist 19-1/2.
Boxer pants with elastic waist and zipper(!); Shirt with pocket; lined vest.
Unprinted pattern is used, envelope in good vintage condition with yellowing.











Advance 6765 - $10

JoAnn didn't know where Shirley had gotten that stupid hat, but she was going to get it away from her one way or another. Lisa was only interested in attracting boys. (Zoom on her fabric pattern. lol)
Size 8, breast 26, waist 23.
Sleeveless, shirt-type blouse with indented shoulder line, has a convertible collar and two breast pockets. Button front opening--collar--sleeveless armhole and pockets are edge stitched. Cuffed shorts--dart fitted with waistband front and an elastic in casing across waistline back.
Unprinted pattern is used, envelope in good vintage condition, writing on front, some seam splits, yellowing.








Anne Adams 4545 - $10

This was an outfit made for little me about 1955, though I do not remember it. I probably looked pretty cute wearing it.

Pattern is undated, size 2, breast 21, waist 21.
Jumper with square neck front and back buttons up the back. Strap trim and buttons at the side waist. Jacket has the same trim and buttons and has long sleeves; open collar or buttoned up. Darted blouse has button front, peter pan collar, and puffed sleeves.

Ri - co-o-o - la-a-a-a-a!!
Size 10, breast 28, waist 24, hip 30.
Pulldown Shirt: The horizontal opening across front buttons to forward shoulder line. Shirt collar - Shirt slits in side seams. patch pocket = Short sleeves. Cut for lengthwise stripe used cross-wise. Wear the shirt tucked in or outside. Knee-length pants with trouser pleats, pockets. buttoned at knee, Optional lace or braid trim on side seam. Zipper at center back.
Unprinted pattern is used, envelope in great vintage condition with yellowing.

Gracie wasn't sure she wanted to be known as a Chub-Deb.
Size 10-1/2, breast 31-1/2, waist 30, hip 34-1/2.
Chub-Deb Sport Separates: View 1-Sleeveless shirt, easily fitted with released tucks front and back, side seam slits. Convertible collar. Contrasting Shorts - waistband across front, elasticized across back. soft folds at side fronts - pockets in side seams. "Oh, crap! I forgot it was St Patrick's Day!", exclaimed Amanda upon watching Gertie's Riverdance.
Sized for the Chub-Deb, size 10-1/2, breast 31-1/2, waist 30, hip 34-1/2.
Two-Version Blouse: All on e fabric, or, tucked yoke, collar in contrast. Front buttoned; soft short sleeve, button band. Skirt-flared four-gore, elastic in casing at back waist, deep set-in pockets, optional button trim. Weskit-lined to edge, v-neck,, pointed lower edges front and back, half-belt from side seams buckles at center back.
Pattern is used, envelope in great vintage condition, yellowing.

"OK, now which boy should I bribe to dance with me?", thought Sandra as Phyllis flashed some knee.
Sized for the Chub-Deb, size 10-1/2, breast 31-1/2, waist 30, hip 34-1/2.
Bodice has short puffed sleeve - front button closing. Big round collar at scooped neckline is edged with lace. Full skirt with two gathered tiers has elastic in casing across back waistline for snug fit. V1 Dress in all one fabric has wide ribbon sash tying into big bow in back. V2 dress with contrast collar. Optional lace trim on collar. Novelty belt.
Pattern is used, envelope in great vintage condition, yellowing.

Trixie quickly learned that a transparent parasol was not a good idea.
Size 10, breast 28, waist 24.
"Sew Easy" Dress - Trim to Suit Your Taste! 1Basic Dress-sleeveless, wide v-neck front and back, flared four-piece skirt softly pleated, side seam pockets. 2Lace-Trimmed, at front v-neck, around skirt. 3Contrast Collar, ribbon sash. 4Bodice front has three bias bands of same fabric as contrast skirt. contrast Petticoat, all views, cut from skirt of dress. Novelty belt.

Advance 7940 - $10

Size 14-1/2, breast 34-1/2, waist 32, hip 37-1/2. (I have this in size 10-1/2, too.) "Sew Easy" Chub-Deb Dress: Bodice has interesting front closing - buttons placed in two groups of three. Small round collar. Short set-in sleeve. Four-piece flared skirt - soft folds at side fronts - elastic in casing across back gives perfect, adjustable fit at waistline. Self or novelty belt. Pattern is used, missing belt and elastic guide pieces--nothing vital, envelope in wonderful vintage conditon, yellowing.

"I know this ball trim looks goofy. It makes me feel goofy, too!"
Size 14, breast 32, waist 26.
1 Detachable button-on jumper top, 3-button side closing, square front, scoop-back neckline, stitched outside for casual look. Six-gore skirt, elasticized back waist. Blouse sleeves and body in one, round collar, sleeve cuffs. 2 Blouse and skirt of contrast.
Pattern is used, envelope in wonderful vintage condition, yellowing.













Advance 8075 - $10.00


This is really quite a sophisticated dress. It copies lots of details seen on ladies' dresses of the period like the bateau neck, 3/4 sleeves, and full skirt New Look look.
Size 14, breast 32, waist 26.
Tucks and Pleats for the Young: Narrow front tucks in bodice and the full unpressed box pleat skirt - below the elbow sleeve softly eased into sleeve band - or short sleeve. V1 Dress with contrast stand-away collar. V2 Contrast tucked front, collar and sleeve band. V3 Novelty trim accents the neckline and short sleeves. Back zipper closing.
Pattern is used, envelope in wonderful vintage condition, yellowing.

Betty and Bonnie wondered just when they could stop wearing those stupid white gloves to school.
Chub-Deb Size 12-1/2, breast 33, waist 31, hip 36.
Chemise Overblouse - short sleeves in one - has shallow darts in front, straight back. Open shirtwaist collar, ribbon bow. band at lower front edge with pointed detail. Button trim. Slim Skirt has deep inverted center-back pleat.
Pattern is used, envelope in wonderful vintage condition, yellowing.












Butterick 2588 - $10.00

This was from my Mom's stash. Apparently she couldn't bring herself to make it. Pattern is undated, size 12, chest 30, waist 25-1/2. Boys' Jacket and Vest: Three-button jacket, notched collar, patch pockets. Vest with welt pockets, belt across back. Pattern is uncut, envelope in wonderful vintage condition with some yellowing.

















Butterick 6429 - $10.00


Cowboys or Spongebob--your choice! Pattern is undated, size 4, chest 23. Boys' Pajamas in Three Styles: He loves his pajamas trimly tailored. A-Cardigan necked button-front pajamas. B-Convertible collar in this version. C-Collarless middy-type top in this view. Trousers in the three views have an elasticized waist. Pattern is used, envelope in good vintage condition with some tears and missing flap, some yellowing.

Butterick 7498 - $10.00 

Belinda was glad her little sister had been "Not Returnable"; she was getting used to her being around. Pattern undated, size 10, breast 28, waist 24, hip 30. Girls' Dress: Back Opening; Yoke-top dress; johnny collar and cuffs, full skirt. A-With contrast yoke and cuffs. B-With contrast collar and cuffs. Pattern is used, envelope in wonderful vintage condition with store stamp, some yellowing.























Hollywood 722 - $15.00

"I know there's a war on", thought Cicely, "but black and brown for little girls is just wrong!" Pattern undated, size 8 years, breast 26, hip 28. Hollywood patterns only ran from 1932 to 1947. Girl's Two-Piece Suit: Fitted jacket with convertible collar, four patch pockets and long or short sleeves. Gored skirt is flared and finished on a straight belt. Mother and daughter suit with number 721. (Which I do not have.) Pattern is used, envelope in great vintage condition, yellowing.


Hollywood 745 - $35.00

"Oh my!", thought Pearl, "So that's what happened to the Joneses dog!". Pattern is undated, size 1 year, breast 20. Hollywood patterns only ran from 1932 to 1947. Child's Coat, Leggings, and Bonnet: Fitted coat with flat round collar, inset pockets and darted-top sleeves with cuffs. Inverted pleat at center back. Bonnet is gathered to shaped crown and has a turn-back cuff. Regulation leggings with slide fasteners. Muff and hat not included. Pattern is used, envelope in great vintage condition, yellowing.



Hollywood 948 - $20.00
This is such a sweet pattern. When I bought it (and a lot of other children's patterns) I was wanting to start a clothing business making these, but I was way ahead of my time with retro styles and no one I contacted was interested. My loss is your gain! Pattern undated, size 2 years, breast 21. Hollywood patterns only ran from 1932 to 1947. One-piece romper or two-piece suit. Romper buttons at crotch. Has buttoned lap closing at front and shaped collar. Short sleeves have turn-back cuffs. Upper part of romper is used for blouse. Straight trousers button to blouse. (It even has a big-boy fly.) Pattern is used, envelope in great vintage shape with yellowing.

Hollywood 1004 - $35.00

Those ghost leggings seemed to follow Molly wherever she went these days. Pattern is undated, size 1 year, breast 20. Hollywood patterns only ran from 1932 to 1947. Boy's or Girl's Coat and Leggings: Double-breasted coat with convertible curved notched collar and two flap pockets. One-piece coat sleeves. Leggings with buttoned closing at each hip and slide fastener at ankles. Elastic at waist in back. Binding at front of coat id optional. Pattern is used, envelope in great vintage condition, yellowing.

Judy could pass as a child well into her 20's. Pattern is undated, size 12 years, breast 30, hip 32-1/2. Hollywood patterns only ran from 1932 to 1947. Girl's One-Piece Dress: Inset belt in front joins gathered skirt to blouse. Gathers below shaped yoke-band in front, Two patch pockets. Short puff sleeves. Pattern is used, envelope in fair condition with splitting, writing on back, yellowing.
